It seems ages since Volume 4 appeared so it really is great to see Volume 5 hitting the shelves and continuing this excellent series - and still at a great bargain price.

You get five kits which are:

• C# at 110bpm
• G# at 95bpm
• Em at 90bpm
• FM at 90bpm
• Bmajor at 90bpm

The folders come with two sub-folders which give you MIDI sounds and drum kit one-shots too so you get plenty to play with.

The sounds are first-class indeed and you get arps, bass, guitars, pianos (including good old Rhodes), plucks, synth chords, flutes, textures, all the drums and percs you need PLUS a bonus of chop/synth/FX vox in three of the kits.

Of course, ideal for 'pop' BUT with the diversity of sounds you can use them for practically any genre you fancy as everything snaps to whatever BPM you use. No faffing about cutting loops at the beginning or end.

As always, key and tempo-labelled too which saves more time and lets you get on with enjoying creating music.

The sounds are nice and melodic too so all you need is an accapella or three to round off this kit so check out the Producer Loops website for loads of vox packs - Amy Kirkpatrick is a great choice.
