RIFFTASTIC!

Pop Guitars Vol 5 - PC/Mac - ACIDized WAV/ MIDI - Royalty-free -
Normally £29.95 but now £20.97

Amazing to think this is volume five in what has been a very welcome set of loops indeed over the years.

Again we are treated to some ace axe-work and so nice to have a collection which is instantly usable in lots of genres.

The icing on the cake is that they are really catchy and melodic too - none of this 'twangy drone' stuff on lots of other guitar sample packs 'out there'.
Nope, Producer Loops come up with the goods yet again (as always!) and come in a range of keys and tempo - including 180bpm...wow!

You get five kits which give you:
F#Maj - 180bpm
Bmaj - 105bpm
C#m - 92bpm
Bm - 105bpm
GMaj - 105bpm.

Each folder gives you sub-folders too which contain the loops, one-shots and the MIDI files.
Another top treat is that you do not have to faff about looking for the ideal accompanying drum track as you get them included with the likes of claps, kicks, snares, rides etc. Plus you get basslines as well.

But on to the music. PL says the gear used is: Fender USA Telecaster and Gibson Les Paul '59 Re-issue electric guitars. Taylor, Yamaha, and Martin acoustic guitars.
So, no need to 'fret'...they are all 'te-riff-ic'... and will 'lead' you easily on to create a top tune..(groan).

Hang on, who plays the guitars?

The ridiculously talented guitarist used in this production, Dave Martin, is one of the most intuitive, on-trend musicians we've ever worked with. During his first listen of the backing productions, he was already riffing and putting down commercial hooks. The electric and acoustic guitar parts include funky riffs, strummed choruses, catchy fills, and finger-picked arpeggios.

As always, PL gives you wet and dry versions of the sounds plus they deliver 'tailed loops' allowing you to end a phrase with the decay of the reverb/delay applied to the loop.

You'll definitely love Volume 5 and of course if you missed the rest simply look them up on the site and snap them up.
