What's not to like about 80s music? Tune in to BBC Four on your telly and there are superb repeats of good old Top of the Pops to enjoy with the likes of The Human League, OMD, Blancmange etc., bringing you the good old synth sounds of yesteryear.
I say 'yesteryear' but the synth sound has never ever gone away really and neither is it likely too, thank goodness.
And as all we loop loonies know, there has been quite a resurgence this year in 'synthwave/retrowave' so this pack from Producer Loops hits the sweet spot.
As I've often bleated on over the years I have a childish fascination for arps and this pack delivers a good clutch of them plus of course everything else you need to create a trip back in time to the days of mullets....er.....although Buster Bloodvessel was always a slaphead!!
You get five rammed kits which are:
- Beauty Of The Earth - Am/100bpm
- Infinity - Gm/100bpm
- Gravity - Em/100bpm
- Filght To Mars - Cm/110bpm
- Valley - A#m - 90bpm
The kits have wet/dry loops, MIDI and tailed loops (to avoid abrubt endings) and of course you get all you need - drums, percs galore such as hats, sweeps, fills plus a swathe of basslines, arps, pads, drops, plucks, strings - even brass.
As per usual you can easily timestretch every sound up or down without any loss of the pristine audio quality, so, for instance, try the Valley sounds in a good old 90bpm hip-hop track or even a 70-80bpm trap creation.
As always - entirely up to you and the flexibility of Producer Loops' collections means you can mix 'n' match to your heart's content.
