PLENTY OF SAX APPEAL

Soul Funk 2 - Frontline - PC/Mac- WAV/Apple/Rex2 - Royalty-free - Zip Main £39.95/Apple £39.95 d/load or of course you can buy single elements from the pack at varying prices such as the brass loops for just £8.95.

It's great to get your mitts on the second volume in Frontline Producer's Soul Funk series and this mega pack weighs in at more than FOUR gigs! An amazing bargain indeed.

You get 737 individual 24 Bit WAV files, 146 Brass loops (52 Alto Sax, 35 Trumpet, 18 Trombone, 39 Tenor Sax and 2 FlugelHorns), 119 Drum Loops, 205 Electric Guitar Loops, 15 Electric Bass Loops and 124 Keys Loops (24 Clav, 16 Hammond and 84 Rhodes) plus 854 Rex2 files.

It goes without saying that the sounds ooze quality just as they do in the first volume and the harmonica loops especially are superb.

Again, the beauty of Soul Funk 2 is the plethora of keys and everything, as you'd expect nowadays from the professionals, comes key-labelled too which, as I've always rattled on about, saves you faffing about looking for sounds to fit around your compositions.
The keys come in all shapes and sizes from A#, Bm to good old F and D with more in between.

As always, you can use utilise all the sounds in this pack to make standalone tracks or of course easily mix and match with your other collections to make them stand out. Try a bit of brass in a hip-hop or trap track for example because the loops timestretch up or down with no loss of audio quality and with the bpm from 100-127 there's plenty of scope.

But of course, if 'all soul funk' is your thing then you get lots to play with to create that rich and enlivening sound.

The basslines are particularly good with plenty of variety as are the keys (plenty of good old clavi sounds).

All in all,  Soul Funk 2 is a library that you'll be coming back to again and again for ages.
